This dryer is great. We got it along with the washing machine that matches it. My wife can ask me to switch the clothes from the washer to the dryer and not worry about me making a mistake on the settings for the dryer. The dryer will automatically receive the setting data from the washer. All I do is switch over the clothing, throw in a fabric sheet, close the door and hit start. The settings that are transferred over are also adjustable if you want to change something (such as drying time, how hot it gets or even the finishing beep sound).
This machine is also really quiet. It also comes with a center insert so the clothing can be heat dried without the tumbling. We've had no issues at all with this machine, and GE gives a really good warranty with it too.
I strongly recommend getting this dryer with the washer equivalent. They work very well together.
