“Worse appliance I've ever owned,”

I have owned this oven for over five years. It has been repaired several times. Several major parts have been replaced at least once. “Buyer Beware”

I bought the Advantium when they first came out many years ago with the 220V I have had at least 3 service calls in the last 18 months and additional 7 prior to that. With out the warranty I bought I would have spent over $3,000 servicing and repairing this oven. So if you do buy this oven make sure you buy a warranty.

“This Advantium oven cuts cooking time dramatically!”

This is a great appliance to add to your kitchen; I recommend it over a standard microwave, because it does so much more.  You can bake and actually brown cakes and cookies, and the time is reduced by 1/3.  Baked potatoes come out with nice, crisped skins, and really fast!

“AWESOME!”

I have an extra oven now AND a microwave-in a small amount of space! I bake and cook in my Advantium more than my standard oven. Would NEVER be without it and will be putting this in my new home as well.

“My experience”

I had not cooked with an Advantium before. Since the house we moved into had one, I started using it. I WILL NEVER BE WITHOUT AN ADVANTIUM AGAIN. I use it everyday. I cook with it and I bake everything with it (including bisquits). No preheating, just pop open and 6 minutes later, your bisquits are beautiful. All I can say, once you use, you will not be without one.

“unreliable and costly”

i bought my advantium about 7 years ago (220v model) since then, it has beem fixed 3 times at a total of ~$600. i would not buy another one and can not recommend this to anyone. last time they(sears) charged me $190 for a bad fuse.
