“My GE refrigerator is not dependable”
My GE side by side refrigerator is barely 3 years old and already the auto defrost quit working. I have researched the problem on the internet and have discovered that this is a common problem for newer GE fridge's. Needless to say this with factor into my next refrigorator purchase.

Great looking, good design + energy efficient!! Not being a fan of stainless appliances, I chose GE bisque color and couldn't be happier. It is a clean, bright look--not the harshness of white or the "coldness" of stainless--that updates my kitchen without being trendy.
Delivery and recycling the old appliance was a plus...and a rebate for the delivery charge is already on its way.
I was outfitting my new home and was very strapped on the budget. I bought a floor model to save money. It was last season's model, but brand new. I love this appliance! I have never had a refrigerator that didn't have problems, even in the first year or so! This has been totally reliable, easy to use (with more features than ever before) and easy to buy parts for. We broke a piece in the door and it was totally simple to replace it and I was surprised how inexpensive it was!
I will be willing to buy GE again, I've loved my GE Profiles!
I recently built a new house and needed a new refrigerator. I wanted to stick with a good quality appliance manufacturer. I had done a lot of research on GE and was totally sold on them. I went to Sears and made comparisons of their GE Side-By-Side Refrigerators to those sold by competitors and other manufacturers. I was impressed with the space available in the freezer as well as the refrigerator. I was also inpressed with the price, especially in comparison with other dealers. read full review »We bought a stainless steel, 25.5, GE, side by side refrigerator/freezer almost a year ago. We have enjoyed it thoroughly. The delivery was smooth & we've had absolutely nothing but good things to say about it. So much space, very classy looking, and Sears has been absolutely delightful to deal with! No complaints whatsoever. We will always depend on Sears with our appliance needs from now on!
