I purchased this washer one year ago. It has performed beyond my hopes. My husband is a farmer with lots of dirty, greasy clothes. This GE King Size Stainless Steel Washer cleans thoroughly and quietly. Besides handling my big dirty loads, it does as well with a tiny load of one or two items....

I purchased a GE heavy duty top load washer in November of 2006. We had to call a
repairman on July 21st because it wouldn't go into the spin cycle. I had always purchased
KENMORE but I thought I would just try a GE. BIG MISTAKE! The repairman charged me
$45.00 to tell me that it would cost more...
