Hi,
Two days before Black Friday I was browsing at the sale preview ads, when I saw and ad for washer GTWN4950LWS from ********** for under three hundred and fifty. (was GE getting rid of a subpar model?)
Having heard my wife about 30 days earlier that me might soon need a new washer, I decided this was the best moment to purchase what at first sight seemed as an excellent purchase. How wrong I was!
I took delivery Dec 12, 2011. On January 15 I finally had the time to install it and triumphantly told my wife. - Give it a whirl!

We got this machine 3/11 on sale. Our 6 yr ols Maytag gave up the ghost. We were at Lowe's and saw this one on sale for 280.00 and my wife thought that was a deal. I questioned the water level being automatic (HE) and the salesman pointed out several other machines, and said they were all like that now. Well it never filled up to cover the load. Our clothes don't get that dirty but, I haul and add water by hand when I wash a larger load. It has washed a blanket that did not get wet all over. I agree with those who don't like this waste of money. Don't buy any machine that you cannot set the load...

GE Appliances 3.5 cu. ft. King Size Capacity Washer
I have purchased several appliances from my local K-Mart and I have yet to be disappointed in the preformance of them. I would refer any of my friends and family to my K-Mart. The employees are very patient and nice, and are well educated on the different appliance that they sell. I give K-Mart an A+++.
