It was time for a new washer/dryer, the old one literally was falling apart. I think one of the things that was top of mind was energy savings this time around. While the dryer is not Energy Star, the washer is.
After looking a wide variety of washer dryers, we settled on the GE Profile DPSE810EGWT. It has a ton of feature, but I think my favorite one has been the auto dry sensor. Its efficient and gets the job done well, however mine started squeeking within 2 weeks or so. Its leveled and such so I'll need to call a tech in to take a look hopefully I'm still within the warranty period for someone to review. I'm also wondering if it squeeks because i bought it out of the box on the floor for a discounted price, you know like the squeek was fixed then but came back after i started using it a couple times a week. Its not loud but it is slightly annoying.
