Galaxy 1.7 cu. ft. Compact Refrigerator —
The Galaxy 1.7 cu compact refrigerator works quite well for me and my officemate. It fits nicely under my credenza/desk, and is not noisy at all. I was wary because other reviews had stated that it doesn't keep things cold enough, but I've never had issues with that in the last couple of months (purchased in early Feb. 09). Primary downside: it doesn't have a freezer section (I know other minifridges of this size sometimes do)... so no Lean Cuisines at work for me.Secondary downside: it's white, which is not the prettiest appliance color. But, how fashionable can an office cubicle be, anyway?Overall, as a person who likes to "live" at the office (i.e. I have breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks all available in my cubicle), I am quite happy with this minifridge.Disclaimer - I am an employee of Sears Holdings, and I did get the associate discount on the item plus splitting it with another person.
