Like carmazon, maybe I got the anti-lemon. Everything is always cool. I'm just using it as an in-the-office under-the-desk refrigerator to hold a week's worth of lunch-sandwich tomatoes and an occasional drink. I can keep fruit in there as well. It takes a couple days to get "cool", if you add warm-stuff... read full review »

My unit is going back. Had it running for 6 days and just didn't like the fact that the fans (internal and external) must stay on at all times. If this was the case, I'd expect the internal temperature to be really cold. I didn't mind the fans running because they're actually pretty quiet. However, they're... read full review »

I purchased the Galaxy 1.7 cu. ft. Compact Refrigerator in January 2008 and it died in April 2009...just months after the 1 year manufacturer's warranty. I agree with multiple others' reviews - The fridge could only drop the temperature of the soda/beers 20 degrees or so, never "cold" even after leaving the cans in overnight. It was incredibly quiet, but now it is too quiet all together.

This fridge does not work. It is designed to operate at 20-25 degrees below room temperature at the max cold setting - says so right in the manual. That's not cold enough to keep many foods from spoiling, especially dairy. Unless you are keeping it in a very chilly room, don't buy it!

I would highly recommend this mini fridge. It holds much more than you would imagine. It is easy to move around. It is quiet. It is very cute. It works very well. It keeps items colder than my big fridge. It is very inexpensive compared to similar models. If you want a mini fridge, don't hesitate, this one is great. It has adjustable shelves to fit large items.

Good little fridge with a surprising amount of space for office use. Nice price, too.

The Galaxy 1.7 cu. ft. refrigerator runs very quietly, takes up very little space. Great for dorms , garage, or other areas where space is limited. works really well and has led light in side to find things in the dark.

I really liked the size and it even has a light but it just won't get cold. I actually bought a frig thermo. The coldest it gets is 53 plus degrees. Not a healthy temperature. I'm returning it - what a hassle.

Seems to work just fine. It's in my husband's office at work. Perfect for a weeks worth of drinks, yogurt, fruit, etc. Stays cold and runs quietly.

This refrigerator was purchased for work, and does not keep anything cold enough, I would like to return it and get a new one that actually works, like it should.

We purchased this for our sons dorm. It will only cool 20 to 25 degrees below room temp. When I asked the salesman if it would be good for a dorm and keep food cold he said yes. Right now I am trying to get my money back, I had a repairman come look at it and he told me that this was the first time he had seen this unit, but he read and found out about the cooling. I wouldn't buy this for certian.

I bought this to free up valuable fridge space, specifically for soda and beer. The ideal serving temperature is 38 degrees, and this fridge will not come closer than 45 degrees at best. Don't waste your money, there are mini fridges of comparable price that actually work.

This mini fridge lacks a condensor. This results in an ice build up on its internal fan, which results in the fan initially making noise, and then not turning altogether. That final result means that this cute little fridge stops working. I bought and returned this item, got a new one and had the exact same problem. Had to take off work to have a repair person look at it. Final result, i had to return it again and ended up purchasing another make.

I already knew thermoelectric coolers had a practical limit to their cooling, but I was hoping

some new development arose that I was unaware of.  Well, I was right, still no more than 20

to 25 degrees cooler than ambient.  Took it back and had the transaction voided.  Now I'll be

going out to by a REAL mini-fridge.

Buyers beware, this product DOES NOT work! We bought this for our travel trailer and it NEVER got down to a normal refrigerator temperature (ie it initially hit 55 and eventually rose to mid 60s). It would be one thing if it was simply broken, but this model is actually designed to only lower the temperature to 20-25 degrees below room temperature. At our place, 90 minus 25 equals a fairly warm 65 degrees. We were hoping to put some dairy products and leftovers in this fridge, but that's kind of pointless in this unit, they would just spoil. We ended up returning this piece of junk and buying one... read full review »
