LockedFavorite indoor game?

In our family playing games at home has always been a tradition for Thanksgiving. Whether it is board games after dinner, or a ping pong tournament, there always is some action taking place. What kind of games does your family feature in the "game room"? Billiards, air hockey, ping pong, darts, board games, other? What do you wish you had in your collection to entertain your family and friends?

I am with you, FMichael!  I hope to one day get an air hockey table when my kids are a bit older.  Also, my favorite, foosball!

Those are clearly classics and a lot of fun.  My wife's family loves board games. We play one nearly every night during their visits.  A particular family favorite is Cranium.  Or Cranium for the kids.  It's perfect.  It's not too difficult and everyone can get a little silly.

There use to be a really really fun board game called "Pass Out". Man did we have fun with that:-} However it's not really conducive to "family" entertainment. In that sence I'd say "Scrabble" it was and still is tooth and nail when we play that one! Also pictionary was alota fun, and lets not forget 5Card Stud&Black Jack!!! Quarters or Beer Pong anyone?

I love games, particularly air hockey.  We don't have a table at home so I make sure to get it out of my system when we go to the arcade or to my brother's house.  We have a game called Skittles which is really hard to explain, but we play that a lot as it's kind of mindless yet very fun and doesn't take any skill. Another of my favorite games is called Catch Phrase.  When I play that with my friends we laugh so hard that it hurts the next day.  Good times. :)

We bought my oldest son Battleship for Christmas.  It is a blast!  I forgot how much fun it is!  We have played it a ton the last few days!

Does anyone remember the old handheld electronic football, babeball, and basketball games? No 3d graphics, mind blowing dolby digital sound, or widescreen images like today. Most basic of graphics just X's and O's but boy was it fun! I have to search Ebay or Craigslist for a piece of that nostalgia. I think Mattel made them.

Bubble, or dome hockey as it is also called, got its name because of the very distinguishable dome that covers the playfield.  Game play is fast and furious as the puck never leaves the playing surface.

Yes!  We had a little football game.  It was white and I think it was made by Coleco and was just little red blips on a tiny screen that made an annoying little "boop" sound that made my mother insane LOL!

With the weather not being so great outside, I like playing Buzz Quiz Trivia.  It's good for some fun times with friends or just the family.  If not trivia, Chess or Monopoly are always old time favorites.

Well, I play a lot of video games, but my friends enjoy playing poker, so I'm looking for a good card table.

I remember Stratego!  I totally forgot how to play it though and my 10-year-old nephew kicked my butt when we played it a few weeks ago as a result. Does anyone remember Risk?  My brother had that game and it always looked very complicated so I never learned it.  He used to play it for hours with his friends.
