RE-programming Key less entry pad

I recently purchased a home in So. Fla. with a Craftsman garage door opener. It has a key less entry pad that has not been used in some time. The previous owner didn't use it and has no clue what the old password is. Therefore I can not use the remote opener because you have to have the old password to put in a new password. I'm not getting any assistance from the toll fee Craftsman help line. Can anyone shed any light on this?

I'd suggest trying managemyhome.com and searching for a free online manual for that opener. It may be in there, and if the keyless pad was part of the original opener, the instructions would be in it.
