chain and wire

the chain broke from the wire.  I have a broken two inch spring on the garage floor.  How do I fix this?  I have 1/2 Craftman door opener.

 i have the 1/2 craftsman door opener--the chain is still connected to the door, but when i push the button-- the engine turns on- but doesn't pull the door open?-
