“Not sure about the rain?”

I bought this about 2 weeks ago. I thought that I loved it. Looks beautiful on my wood deck. “Love it!”

I bought this pergola about 2 years ago.  I actually assembled it all by myself!  I secured it to a concrete patio and it has withstood West Texas winds and hail storms well.  Everything except the canopy.  The rods in the bottom ripped holes in the bottom of the canopy and the top became weak from the rain and wind after the first year.  There is a replacement canopy available from Garden Winds if anyone is interested or has the need to replace theirs.

“A wonderful addition”

We love this pergola! My husband is sensitive to the sunlight so I saw this on sale and thought what a great addition for him to our patio. It took several weeks for me to get it up because he was out of town and I needed help. I got two young fellows to do it for me - they put it into two parts and then moved them to the deck and connected them. It is just wonderful! A few days after putting it up we had a hard wind storm and I went out and unscrewed one of the finials and pulled out the bar on that side - untied it on the side and it slid off to the other side by itself. “Love it!-Canopy could be better designed”

This is an awesome pergola. Most people are shocked to learn that it is metal and not wood. The price was great and after 2 summers it has held up beautifully. Virtually maintenance free. The ONLY reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the rod of the fabric canopy it came with banged and clanged in the wind. (could be heard through the whole neighborhood) The clanging ripped the canopy at the grommets after a few windy days. I managed to do a repair but now tie down the bottom with a rope to keep it from banging/ripping. I wish they sold a replacement canopy. Overall though, LOTS of compliments... read full review »

“Perfect Pergola”

To answer above questions...yes, you have to get a helper and take down the two canopy panels in a wind/rain storm. That's just how it goes. It's not hard, we do it all the time. But that's my favorite thing about it....I am a previous owner of 2 "traditional" canopies with pointed tops that had endlessly complicated ways of getting the tops on and off...and losing both of them to the October winds when they flipped over and bent the metal...this pergola has been the answer for me. We've owned it one year, over a long New England winter and it looks brand new. I'm ordering a 2nd one.

“Easy & Elegant”

It took just a couple of hours to put together. We used a cordless drill instead of the allen wrench provided. Pergola is very strudy and looks great!
