The Garden Oasis "Cast Iron" Bistro Set has a substantial feel to it, even though some of it is cast aluminum. Becase the steel hardware threads into the aluminum, you have to take care in assembling the set to keep from damaging the aluminum parts by overtightning the steel hardware. It became apparant that one leg of the bistro was misaligned and would not screw in properly  due to  manufacturers sloppiness. We were asked to speak to a company in Canada who spoke to company in China!!!!   Why couldn't Sears customer service take on this responsibility.  If you don't have a...

This is a great little table and chairs set for the price. The set is a perfect bistro sized table and chairs. I was looking for something that would fit in a small area and be able to handle some weather. I have a small condo balcony and this set fits nicely on it with room to spare. The construction is sturdy and the finish is antiqued so it should weather nicely, too. Assembly of the set was relatively easy. The instructions and pictures were easy to understand. Picked up this bistro set for a small patio in our front yard. I can't believe the quality of the set for this price. The table and chairs are really solid and have a quality feel to them. One thing to note - the set is actually cast aluminum, not cast iron. This has the benefit of lowering the weight of the pieces just a bit, and also eliminates rust. They require assembly, but it was pretty straight forward. It came with all of the hardware needed to put it together. I highly recommend.

Love it!

Nice looking cast aluminum set.   Purchased to sit on a windy apartment balcony.  It fits a small balcony perfect and is substantial enough to withstand the wind.  No assembly problems.

Very nice bistro set

The Garden Oasis "Cast Iron" Bistro Set, when built, is solid, even though it is cast aluminum. Becase the steel hardware threads into the aluminum, you have to take care in assembling the set to keep from damaging the aluminum parts by overtightning the steel hardware. You need an adjustable wrench or a metric socket set to assemble this set because all the nuts and bolts are metric.

The instructions are clear enough and all the necessary parts were in the bag. Once again, just be careful not to overtighten the bolts, studs and nuts; I had one that started to strip from being too tight.

Cast Iron Bistro

This is a sturdy and well made set. Fitup and assembly was easy. Set is actually cast alumimum, so looks like iron but no rust and much lighter. Especially good value bought on line.
