Garden Oasis Patio Umbrella Cover —
A product designed by people who would never use it. While it does protect your umbrella from the elements (and ultimately that is what matters) it is designed by folks who didn't think it through.
- The accessory steel pole to help you lift it up is a flimsy, meager two feet long or so. Maybe if you were a pro basketball player it might help. Solution -- use a step ladder.
- It has a draw string at the bottom. Nice in theory but fails in execution. First, that means the whole cover has to go over the top of the umbrella. See note 1. Second, the thick, and weather proof material doesn't work well with a draw string. Can't be cinched closed. Solution -- rely on the zipper. Third, the string lies on your wet table top and wicks up water into the dark channel of the draw string facilitating mold and mildew. Solution -- get rid of the draw string.
It does what I need it to do but designed by someone who never eats at home outside...
