Stone color not a deep red. Mounting too lightweight. Overall appearance not the quality I was looking for. I will be returning the ring.
I did not expect that the stone would be as large as it was: Happy surprise! The deep red color is beautiful and it goes with all of my garnet and gold jewelry. Looks great if you have a garnet and gold bracelet. The "gold" holds the garnet in a regal-like state (the gold portion of the ring reminds me of what Ceasar would have worn as a crown). I like this ring.
When I received my ring, it had an inner flaw so I returned for a replacement. My replacement arrived flawless. It is lightweight but it's not cheap looking. The stone is a dark garnet. The only problem is that it takes Kmart forever to ship this ring.
This ring is just beautiful. The garnet is a deep red. The gold filigree setting makes it look like a vintage heirloom. Well worth the price and highly recommended.
I just recieved this ring and I just love it, it's color is beautiful as the previous reviews states. The gold filigree is pretty and the East/West design is very nice. I LOVE IT!
I bought this ring a year ago, and I LOVE it. It is really pretty, and the garnet is a bright, clear, root beer color. It is awesome. The color is just what a garnet should be. As the light plays on it you get reds and browns, truely a beautiful ring. The setting is beautiful with the leaf like design and I like the fact that it has so many prongs that hold the stone, which is guite a large stone. This was the best money I have spent of a ring. It is nice and substantial, and can be worn everyday. You won't go wrong if you get this ring. A bargin!!
