This is a very handy tool. It took a laborious job and made it quick n easy- it's a squeeze getting to the bolts that hold car doors to the hinges, but this little gem made it easy and removed all the frustration.

This was my introduction to Gearwrench ratcheting wrenches and it impressed me so much...

Most Helpful Critical Review

My husband uses the 35 piece Gearwrench microdriver set to work on his motorcycle.  He loves the compact case because it fits into his saddle bags so he can take it with him on his rides.  It is a Craftsman product and of course, the replacement policy cannot be beat!  He has been satisfied with all...

awesome set of sockets.

Posted on Apr 02, 2011

I didn't see an online listing of the exact tools included.

The primary tool is a double ended ratcheting driver with 1/4" hex drive and 5/16" hex drive.

There 5 each of metric and SAE 6 point sockets in 1/4" square drive

8/10/12/13/14mm

5/16",3/8",7/16",1/2",9/16"

These are driven by the 1/4" square drive adapter that fits into the 5/16" driver end.

Most of the driver bits are 1/4" hex, but the five largest are 5/16" hex.

There are five slotted drivers, and three Phillips drivers (#1, #2, #3).

The Torx drivers go from T20 to T50, skipping T27 and T35 (T20/T25/T30/T40/T45/T50)

There are two...

I bought multiple metric ratchet wrenches for around $35. I was working as an auto tech and looked first at the tool truck guys simply because they came to the shop. For a similar set would've cost about $150. I've used them many times and no breakage. A great deal of savings, and my tools hold up nicely. The store is close to my house in Rochester so if something happens they can be replaced quickly. Other techs hounded the tool truck guy with many excuses stating they were on order. They may not say Snap On but, I'll take Craftsman tools anyday. Saves me money, and they hold up!

I had no idea that the 35-pc. Microdriver set would be this useful and compact enough for me too carry around and not have it get in the way anymore than just a small Multitool is able to get in the way but it can do so much more than any multitool I've ever owned or seen.

They are good around house for doing little things here and there and not to mention this would also makes for a gift item. I tried them and they seem to work ok. Remember they do not include a spark plug bit for your lawn mower. Average attempt for a carrying case.

YOU WILL NOT BE A SCROOG FOR GIVING THIS TOOL FOR ANY OCCASION. MY HUSBAND GETS ME TOOLS AND I LOVE IT BUT HATE IT WHEN IT IS ALWAYS TAKEN TO THE GARAGE FOR HIS PROJECTS. JUST MAKE SURE YOU BUY ONE FOR YOURSELF, IT COMES IN REAL HANDY FOR EVERYTHING YOU FIX.

Great For Tight Spaces

Very nice set for getting into really tight spaces.  I needed this to get to torx screws beside the windshield of my wife's Bimmer.  This space was almost too tight for a socket, but this worked like a charm.

This mini set rocks!

I bought this set about a year ago, and love it! I've been trying to find another so I can get it for my father for Christmas-- glad I finally found a place that carries it. The tool rocks. Saw the poor review-- my belief is that gentleman didn't insert the bits correctly. I've never had a problem-- whatsoever. I love this baby. I might even buy a second one for myself!

good stuff

I got this set at my local sears and love it. Usually when you need a stubby screw driver you're unable to apply alot of force to the screw due to limited space. That's were this tool really comes in handy. This tool has helped me to save time and get the job done faster. Thanks, Jacob

Great Tool

I have struggled in tight places with many a wrench but this one does the job. I have already recommended it to several people. The case looks great but I can't see it being hauled on a belt. This set will always have a home in my box.

MICRO DRIVER

I am an Harley Davidson Tech, and this is the best 25.00 tool that I will have ever purchased. I purchased it 2 months ago. All the guys that I work with have used my set and fell in love with it. The only problem that I've had is finding more sets in stock at my local sears store. I will put one in both my vehicles 1 in my Harley, 1 at work, and 1 at home. This set is so versatile. I love it

1 star

I had the same problem with this item as an earlier reviewer. The 1/4 bits do not fit in the wrench. I am going to return it and try to get another one that works.

Bad Experience

The 1/4" side of the wrench would not accept the 1/4" bits. I finally got one forced in and had to use a pair of pliers to get it out. I took it back to Sears and they took one off the shelf, that one would accept the 1/4" bits but the 5/16" bits just fell out and would not stay in. My advise is to keep your receipt for a few weeks after you buy it so you can take it back with no problem. Also, test the new one before you take it home. When I could not produce a sales receipt I was informed that I would need an I.D. of some sort which I did not have at the time, so I will try and exchange at a... read full review »
