Geico —
I admit I have been entertained by those clever Geico tv ads, the ones with the cavemen getting upset because they feel slighted or the little gecko getting chased around by people and also the money with "eyes". So when I decided to call to find out if I could get a better car insurance rate, I was very dissappointed. Granted, not everyone will be dissappointed, but I tried to get the best rate I could. The downpayment was much more than I had made with my present insurance company. The monthly rate was also more. So I told them I had no intention of switching. I told them I got the impression from their ads that I would save money by switching. The Rep said that I would save money in the long run but did not explain how. I assumed the bill would eventually go down once Geico understood I was a low risk. Still, I have a great driving record and I like to be rewarded for that every once in a while!
