It Does Work, But...

Here is what you need to know....it does work. And it will work with non-Genie brand openers. The control unit needs to be within 3 feet of a power outlet. You must install the control unit on or near the garage door opener power head (where the motor is.) Think through where you mount the lasers as... read full review »

weak link

I started to assemble the laser parts for mounting when upon attempting to position the beam ,the laser broke off from the ball and tension mount. I went ahead and tested the laser, holding it by hand, and it looks like it would work great but I did not like that the laser stays on all the time.(The model... read full review »

This thing is awesome!

I bought this a few years back and it has been working great since. I'd highly recommend to anyone looking for parking assistance. Easy to install, setup, and its a no brainer for anyone to use. Much better that trying to set up strings and tennis balls that you know the kids are going to use for batting practice. A little more expense than most, but I think it was well worth it.

Waste of Money

Installed the unit and it worked a couple of times and then would not work unless I tapped on the sensing unit.  I changed the postion of the sensing unit and again it worked a couple of times and then again stopped working unless I tapped on it.  This product looks like a great idea and it would be if it worked but it does not.  Don't waste your money.

It works with vibration

Very easy to install. though you need to make sure it is installed on the opener (2 sided tape included)in the correct orientation. The vibration of the door opener turns it on for a preset period. Though I have found the air pressure and/or vibration from opening the door to the house will also activate the unit. It works great, nice bright dot. Though a great improvement would be to ad a lens to generate a line or cross instead of the dot a little eraser to park with...

worth every penny

First off this doesn't stay on all the time, it only turns on when you open the garage door, the vibration from the door opening triggers the light. I drive a late model camaro and it is impossible to see the front of the car and when parked in my garage I have about 7" of total clearance (front and back) to get her parked. Now I don't have to worry about damaging my front bumper cover just to park her in the garage. I highly recommend this product, very simple to install and very effective.

Lasar Park

This installation of the Lasar Park was very easy. It has two parking sensors. Instructions could be better. Be sure to place the main unit on a garage door opener or it will not work. The unit will work on seporate garage door openers or just with one. Very nice, it does not clutter the garage with a stopper that might be moved.
