I purchased the sip n smile cups that have handles and are 7 oz. with soft spouts, and I really like these cups. Both my 2 1/2 year old and my 10 month old like them, and they both like them without the spill proof valve. There's enough flow for both of them, and even my 8 year old and myself tryed them out and we like the flow when we tried it as well.

We have gone through SO many different types of sippy cups, and seriously these are the only ones that don't leak! The vents fit in tightly and don't fall out. They are dishwasher safe. They have cute designs. There aren't enough good things I can say about them!
I haven't had any problems with the Gerber sippy cups leaking but my eight month old seemed to have a hard time drinking from them by himself. My two year old daughter on the other hand seemed to do just fine with them. (She's constantly taking his sippy cups for her own :-).)
i statred using sip and smile sippy cup right when my son came off the bottle. I loved it. They were so easy to clean and handle. The part that the liquid came out of was just long enough to the transition from bottle to sippy cup.
