i really love both of these movies. they really are great. plus i love the video game.

“I love classic horror fun and the Ghostbusters crew”

The 80's had a defining decade of costumes and laughs. Rapping out the lyrics to Ghostbusters 1 and 2 were the mainstream hits of comical horror. Dan Ackroiyd and Bill Murray are at their finest comedy level with these two back-to-back slapstick series. Marshmallow Man has one of the more exploding fun scenes since "Food Fight " in Animal House. Rick Moranus from movies like "Honey I Blew Up The Kid" and "Honey I shrunk the Kid" had his debut in these two flicks. “Great Deal”

The only downfall to this version of Ghostbusters, versus the previous DVD release, is that it is missing some of the special features including the theatrical trailers, subtitled production notes, and the video that went along with the audio commentary. It would also be nice if there were more features, like the Ghostbusters music video. On the plus side you get better video transfers for both films and on the Ghostbusters 2 disk you get an episode of The Real Ghostbusters cartoon, 'Citizen Ghost' and an episode of Slimer and The Real Ghostbusters cartoon, 'Partners in Slime'. “guiness ”

I have the movie, not only is it great for the whole family, but it is also a timeless classic. It is a must see if you have not taken the time to do so, you will fall in love with the movies creativeness.

My recommendation is that you get this movie or at least rent it and enjoy all the entertaining and imaginative fun that this movie has to offer. It is not only a comedy, but it is also an action movie as well, with some drama. It also makes a great stocking stuffer.

“One of the best movies of the 1980s. ”

I have always enjoyed this movies since I was a child. This DVD set, however, makes these movies even better with enhanced quality and many bonus features.

“who you gonna call?”

If you have kids and want to introduce them to horror movies or they are too afraid of the thought of horror movies this would be great for them.  My daughter is in love with "Ghostbusters" and now wants to make her own proton pack.  This movie has been around for a while and I believe it will be around much longer. It is a great movie for anytime!
