I'm still waiting for my Sears Tool Wish Book...

That would be perfect for you, AdamO.

The Wishbook brings back great memories of Wishbooks when I was a kid.  That and the Sears catalogs, which my brother and I would pour over for hours.

Oh the Wish Book brings back HUGE memories for me, too!  I remember sitting on the floor with my Magic Marker circling all the stuff I wanted and folding the pages over so Santa could find everything easily.  Only problem is that I'd end up circling nearly everything!

And of only Santa would bring everything!!!!

You haven't received them at your store yet? There's so much cool stuff in there...you may want to laminate it, to protect it from saliva. :)

There is a wonderful selection of gifts this year. I got involved in the games and looking at gifts when playing the Scavenger Hunt.

The store has received "just" the standard Wish Book and the standard Sears Tool Catalog.

Neither the Open-stock tool catalog or the Tool Wish Book was sent to or received by the store.

That's a LOT of tools not exposed to Customers in the area.

I've also attempted, multiple times, to order the catalogs from the Sears.com site.

No go...

Now, ask me about Sears.com orders...

You're pretty close.

I have been know to delicately "cut" the tool catalog up and put each page inside of a clear plastic page protector, to allow faster catalog lookups, with the sticky notes not lifting print and pictures off of the pages.

Cost an extra 25 dollars in "plastic".

But, it worked during a time that Internet terminals in the store was not as prevalent as now.

Flipping through the pages is STILL faster than the Internet or virtual catalogs, though.

I'm sure that will change, eventually.

But, I'd sure like to have had that 2009 Open-stock tool catalog.

I know you won't believe this, I'm one of those folks who actually save and "collect" the old Craftsman tool catalogs.

Oh, yes.

In fact, if someone within SHC could mail an Open-stock and a Tool Wishbook catalog to me now, it wouldn't be "too late".

I keep the paper catalogs forever.

I even keep PDF copies of the virtual catalog - in leu of a paper version.

Sadly, it does not seem possible to "save" the PDF virtual catalogs anymore.

Progress - I guess...

Houdiniphile has asked Santa for a Blue Crew T Shirt in size Xl, and Houdiniphile will also write 100 honest, thoughtful shoe reviews, with pics, if she gets a pair of boots for Christmas. If Margita buys me a pair of Dearforms slippers, do they count as boots., lol??

Open stock catalogs and Tool Wishbooks would be wonderful...

I've already got one of the Woodpeckers specialty Woodworker's measurement tools, on order.
