LockedHoliday Music

We've got Holiday music in the store already.

There's the music being played over by the Tree display...

And, the music coming out of a little "lit building" ornament, over to the ornaments display.

It's OK, though.

The music is not being "piped" all over the store - yet.

I beg to differ.. Here at our store we started with the Christmas music on November 1st! And it IS being piped all over the store. It's not like anybody is going to be singing along anytime soon....

Singing along...

Probably not.

Humming might just work!

I just go to the holiday section and SMILE at the Customers...

Within 8 seconds of their arrival in the area, of course.

Xmas = shopping in most peoples minds, then jesus and family etc

Other than playing the sound of cash registers ca-ching noises, i doubt the marketting majors can think of another sound or music that they can play to get people in the spirit of shopping. Plus i just think people like christmas music

Yes!

Decorating.

Shopping.

Wrapping.

Unwrapping.

And, EATING!

Great holiday...

I think I get more excited about Thanksgiving than I do Christmas now.. I love Thanksgiving... Everyone comes home and Mom makes the best food on Thanksgiving.. And then we go get the Christmas tree.. YAY! I can't wait for Thanksgiving and it's right around the corner!!!

I love both Thanksgiving and Christmas, we have a local radio station that around thanksgiving broadcasts all christmas music all the time up until the new year. My Favorite song to carol to is Do You Hear What I Hear.

And, soon, the fourteen versions of Silent Night will be piped into the store!

I'm tired of the holiday music already!  It's way too early.

Too early - yes.

However, much like the employee's and the Fry machine at McDonald's, I've pretty much masked out the sound of the music, now.

Except for the humming.

But, that may have "been there", all along...

Much like my talking to the tools I'm stocking.

Don't worry.

The tools don't answer back.

maybe if it were the good versions of the songs and not the pop **** remakes of the last 10-15 years itd would be tolerable

You make a great point.  People just shouldn't mess with classic holiday songs nor come up with new ones.

Has anyone heard Bob Dylan's new Christmas CD?  I am curious about that one.  I read a review that said it is pretty good.  It is interesting that he chose to make a Christmas CD, I think!
