I love that couples can register for things like, a vacuum, a Wii, or towels with one gift registry. 

Most stores that offer gift registry do not carry all of these items.  It really gives the couple the option to get the things they REALLY want and need!

And of course that means that you can add Craftsman tools and Kenmore appliances to your registry!  Gift givers can collaborate for large items using our new group gifting program, Give Together (http://www.sears.com/givetogether).  So now you can really add everything you want or need to your registry, even if it's something big!

That is an amazing option.  I wish it was around when I got married!  Sometimes, I know when I am buying a present, those available, are often pricier than I would like to pay for a gift.  This option lets the guest decide what to spend.

Also, a great option for a baby shower, too.  It can be a big help for those who need a new crib or stroller.

One of my best friends got married recently, I was thrilled to have a list of items to choose from because she is very picky!  

I love the Gift Together idea!

We continue to take a step in the right direction to offer our customers what they want. Between layaway, gift registry, and shop your way rewards customers can take advantage of so many opportunities to shop on their terms!

People are getting more creative in their gift giving, and gift requesting, and this program meets those needs. 

Now, I need to think of an occasion for myself, to register for a new fridge!

Sears would be a great place to register for wedding gifts, and could also be a great way to get people to share their gift giving if they want. The Give Together function is awesome for gifts that might be just too expensive for one person:

Don't forget, the Give Together is great for family reunions. Surprise mom or gramma at Christmas dinner this year with a new fridge! better yet, if there's a rebate, have that sent to her, too!
