Golden Girls —
Okay, so I'm not the 'typical' Golden Girls fan or at least I dont fit the mold. But this has to be one of my all-time-favorite tv shows. I have a hard time deciding which character/actress is my favorite (although if I had to choose one to save my life, it'd probably be Dororthy/Bea Arthur).
The chemistry is remarkable; the timing is impeccable! I love the way Dororthy always does the "double take" stare at Rose whenever Rose makes one of her dizzy observations.
For example- Lesly Neilson played Uncle Luther on an episode. In the scene, Lesley Neilson had given Dorothy a bouquet of flowers, gotten on one knee, took Dorothy's hand, and started into his speech "I love you, I cant imagine being without you..." An obvious proposal of marriage.
Rose says, "I think he's going to ask her out."
And that is when Dorothy does her famous "double take" stare.
I also LOVE Blanche and Sophia-- or at least how Sophia is always the first to remind Blanche how much of a "bed hopping relic" she is." FUNNY!!
I could write all day about it, but I'll end it here.
