Just purchased a set of 4 Goodyear Assurance tires (P22560H16) for my car. Had a flat as I caught a piece of metal commuting into work and stopped at the Sears outlet on my way home for a tire repair. First the service tech tried to repair tire without success and given the state of the other 3...
I purchased this tire July 2007, it was for 80K, I only got around 44K. The tire is now discontinued, they introduced a new version. I am now haggling with Goodyear for some form of compensation toward my next tire purchase. I will never buy another Goodyear tire. Why buy a premium tire if you can't...
I spend a lot of time on the road so I was looking for a tire that was quiet. The reveiws said this was the tire and I can tell you that I am not disappointed. I love to drive my car again. A 2003 Toyota Corolla with 156,000 miles. Now I have to watch my speed because it is so quiet I find myself driving faster. My commute is about 100 miles a day. Thanks Goodyear and Sears.
I purchased this tire for my daughters Honda about 2 years ago. It has been an excellent tire and a very quiet tire. After about 30,000 miles the thread looks like new. I would highly recommend this tires for any Father to purchase for their daughters car, very reliable and great value.
After getting about 35 k (no where close to 80 k) from Michelin's on a 03 Honda CRV, I needed new tires. If I was able to prove in writing that I rotated every 5 k (who keeps these receipts?) I suppose I had a warranty claim.
Anyhow, went with these Goodyear Comfort treads and its unbelieveable what a difference in noise level on this vehicle. Its my wife's car and I've never enjoyed driving it since its been so buzzy. These tires have made a real difference.
You do notice a difference in ride quality at first. I don't know how to describe it other that they feel more "gel" like. Sort of a Dr....read full review »
I've had many cars and many tires. These are the quietest smoothest tires I've owned. Goodyear's claims are true on this tire. I have to set the cruise control - they are so quiet I'm going too fast before I know it. This is the 4th set of tires on my present car (2002 Saturn L200) The original Firestone tires were terrible. I thought the Falken 512s were quiet, but these ComforTreds are much, much quieter and smoother. The salesmen talked me into Michelin WeatherWiseII, but I was so unhappy with the ride and the noise, they replaced them with the Goodyears after one week. Thanks for the 30 day...read full review »
I purchased these about 3 years ago for my car. I put about 60,000 miles on them and they still ride smooth. They are the most quiet tires I have had on any of my cars. They help with road bumps by having an extra comfort layer. WOULD RECOMMEND TO ANY PREMIUM TIRE PURCHASER.
