I am not too happy with my Goodyear WeatherHandelers. I got a set of these on my Hyundai Tucson. Immediately I noticed that the ride was noticeably rougher. At highway speeds the car jitters and shakes now. I have had these tires rebalanced numerous times with no change.
Everyone needs a safe tire that will handle in all types of weather. In these Mountains, we do not know if we will be caught in a downpour of rain in the summer or a snowstorm that we are not expecting in the Winter. We need something we can depend on. I have bought Sears tires for years and have had no trouble from them. The 75,000 mile warranty is worth the extra cost. The Automotive Department is always courteous and helpful if you have any questions. If you have any trouble with the tires, just call Sears, they will tell you when to bring them in to be checked. Well, as you can see I love these tires. I bought a pair for myself, and they dont compare to any of the others I have ever had. If anyone was looking for new, good tires, I would tell them to get the Goodyear Weatherhandler Ls'.
