I had a The First Years monitor I bought almost 7 years ago for my first son. I still use it for the older boys. I researched newer more "high tech" models when I found out I was expecting again. I thought the Graco I monitor would be great, knowing the company is high quality. I actual dislike this monitor sooooo much! It beeps for no apparent reason, it can get staticy at times, but most important the rechargable battery in the Parent Unit only holds its charge for up to 4-5 hours. I actually emailed the company thinking it was an older battery even though I just bought the unit. they verified that it will not last all night off the charger. My husband has taken the parent unit twice now so that I could get a full night sleep and both times it failed on him. Very scary. It is a pain to unplug the charger for whatever room your going to be in. I would not recommend this monitor. My THe First Years still after 7 years still holds at least 10-12 hours of charge!Graco Baby Monitor, imonitor Digital
