I am very pleased with the full spectrum lamp that I purchased from Sears. The package arrived in record time and putting it together was quite simple. I consider this purchase to be a total success and I will make sure that I check Sears in the future before I purchase items that I need.
I bought two of these lamps for my wife who needs plenty of light for her quilting projects. We placed one behind the sofa so she can work on her crafts while we watch TV in the evening. It provides plenty of bright light. She couldn't be more pleased.
Of course we haven't had to find replacement bulbs yet which I understand could be a challenge. But the lamp comes with directions for obtaining new bulbs so hopefully that won't be an issue.
This is a great lamp - I did not even know it was ENERGY STAR rated until I got it. The box really listed the featurs as this site does not do it justice , Box states the bulb that came with it will last for 10,000 hours Plus it came with a 2 year warranty . It is one of those full specturm lamps so the light is bright white great for reading! it is natural just like sunlight . I use it every day. I use it read by a chair you will not be disappointed.
The only thing I didn't like was not having the option of being able to pick it up at the nearest Sears store. Other than that, the Grandrich full spectrum floor lamp is the perfect height & puts out just the right amount of light. You can take it anywhere with you in the house where you need that daylight-type of light the most, especially at night (for reading, computer work, craft work, etc.). For years I've been looking for something like this but was always stopped by the cost. I bought 2 of the lamps at your online store & I'm very happy with it. Thanks!
