I've had this blender for 2 years. It is a bit noisey. The plastic piece that went in the center of the lid flew out and cracked a year ago. It usually does the job. Occasionally big chunks of ice would get stuck when I made smoothies and it started to smell hot. One of the blender hands at the base...

I use it primarily to make frozen smoothies a couple of times per week.
There is a reason for all of the positive reviews. This blender works. Don't let the price tag fool you. This is a high quality no frills machine that pulverizes ice cubes day after day. I was afraid it would not be able to handle the ice load, but I have had no problems yet.
My husband has been on a weight-gain diet and we were looking for an affordable, great blender we could use to make his shakes. This blender is awesome and we love it. It has plenty of settings, is a great price, and really makes a great and SMOOTH milkshake, which is super important to him (total texture snob). We highly recommend it!
This a great blender for anyone that is looking for something that does the basics well. I can tell you that it does ice and hard fruit very well. I have to say it is a bit noise and the motor does blow some hard air out at the bottom. I have to say one of my favorite things to do when i get home is blend myself a ice cold drink and just relax and with this blender it can do just that i'v own high price blender that do some great things but if you just want it to work and work well this is the blender for you it comes with the basics. The Hamilton Beach BlendMaster® 10-Speed Blender is a great blender sold at an incredibly low price. I don’t know how they do it.
While blending, the liquid gets pulled down through the blades so that you get a consistent mixture. It even chops ice and has pulse. I expect the stainless steel blades and Dishwasher safe jar will last much longer than the generous warranty.
I make great ice based drinks and think it is just the best and for the price I don't think there is another blender that I would rather have.
Hamilton Beach products are very well made. I have several different items and they have all been well worth what I paid for them. Most items made by Hamilton Beach are pretty affordable. This blender works very well and does what the description on the box describes. It is a little noisy, but what blender isn't. If you want smooth well blended drinks, then this would be a good buy.
Bought this blender the other day and have made a few smoothies and so far it's works great. Does a great job of blending everything and also blends ice and chunks pretty good. Only negative I'd say is that it's a bit noisy and if you don't hold the jar down on high speeds it rattles a bit, but other than that issue it's a great value and worth every dollar.
this blender is great for smoothies , purees , food drimks and ice crunches. easy to clean . for last one year i am using this blender for regular basis . but it take more time for batters and all. i think the price is also reasonable .in my view this blender worth the price
I recently purchased a new Hamilton Beach Blendmaster blender. I am loving it. I use my blender to puree foods for my little ones as well as make drinks for the adutls. I love the speed and easy of the product. This is a great buy.
Very very affordable but still does the job. Great for smoothis and mixed drinks. Ice is still pretty chunky but it's ok. I really have no complaints.
