Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows —

There seems to be 2 sides to the reviews on Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows.  I am about in the middle.  I ordered the book in advance so I would get it on the day of its release.  I had already read all the previous books and was addicted to them.  I just had to see how it all ended.

Once the book came, I couldn't put it down until I was done reading it.  It was a fast read but very engrossing, just like the rest of the books.

I liked how this book drew everything together and you saw the insides of the different characters.  The only negative I had was that she decided to make Dumbledore gay at the last minute.  I thought that was a VERY bad choice.  I would have left that up to the readers to decide and not announced it.  I didn't see him as gay and really loved his character until that.  I like the fact that it was told that Harry marries and has kids and Hermione and Ron marry and have kids and what happened to some of the other characters, but it would have been better to have that as just facts at the end instead of how she did it as an epilogue.
