Connect four teaches my nephew to strategize, but sometimes he gets frustrated if he loves too many times and he will cheat and clear the board. Another drawback is that kids tend to lose some of the checkers. I love how kids try to distract as they attempt to get four in a row.

i was hooked on this game since i was a little kid and i'm still hooked today. i think that every kid should own this game. it always is so fun to play it. i'm so happy because to this day nobody has ever been able to beat me at this game. this game is great to play and it's for people of all ages to play. it's so fun to play. why do you think that to this day that it is still around. the big reason why it is still around is because it has been a big seller and it also has been a very big hit being around.
I loved this game when I was a kid, so of course when I had kids this is one game I had to pick up for them. Of course my kids love Connect Four it is the altamate game of tick tac toe! The one bad thing is only 2 players and play at a time so if you have more then two people who want to play you have to take turns... in our house that means you hear the phrase "I got winner" a lot!
Over all this is a great game to add to the family game night line up. We really love it and I am sure your family will too!
Connect Four is a game every kid should have - My girls love to play this.
I like buying different games to keep my child engaged especially during winter and connect four is one of her favorites.We play in different ways to make it more interesting.It does teach some math,patterns,and the best she like is to push the knob to make all the coins fall from the case.It is very entertaining and challenging when we play as a team with my husband.Over all it is a great game.
The Hasbro Connect Four is a real entertainer! It requires basically no setup, is easy to understand, and can almost be played everywhere! I used to have one when I was young, and now we play it with our son. A very affordable, fun, and entertaining game that requires little ones to count.
A great game - never to early to learn strategy!
While at Kmart the other night , standing in line there was a woman buying a Connect Four Board game. Well all of us in line started commenting on the game saying how much we loved the game; there must have been at least seven of us commenting , positively, on this game. You need no batteries and you can take it any where. Also it doesn't need to be plugged in. The only DOWN ???? side of it, NOT is that you need to use your brain
I've recently been reminded of how entertaining this game was when I was given the opportunity to play this game against my good friend's little brother. It's one of those games that doesn't matter what your age is you'll continue to have fun with it.
Kids will love it and learn planning from this game. Adults will love it too, one of the few games I believe adults and children can play together.
How do I pull my 9 year old nephew off his computer or away from video games? CONNECT FOUR. I know it sounds crazy but we have Connect Four tournaments at my house and we will log 20 to 30 games between 4 of us. He just loves playing it.
My 4 year old loves this game- but so does my 13 year old:) It is a great game for kids I remember playing it when I was little and it was simple and fun. This is a good game if you want something you can play with the kids and have easy clean up after. Its a good traditional game.
this game is very fun. it can never get boring. kids will be so into this they'll be playing this for hours. It is one of the best games ever.
My family can't get enough of connect four. We spend hours playing.
This game is great for my 6 year old. It helps her learn about patterns. My 3 year old likes to play it too, but doesn't quite get the idea of getting four in a row. He just keeps playing even after the other person has won. Very entertaining and helps with math for early learners.
