OMG Monopoly has grown up!I think I am in love with the new Monopoly City Board game by Hasbro. As an avid fan of the game, I have anxiously awaited Mr. Monopoly's arrival since I saw the first commercial a couple of months ago. Monopoly City did not disappoint!
My family and I are avid players of all the Monopoly games. On game night alot of pride and passion goes into playing the game and determining a winner. Monopoly City introduces new properties, new twists and turns, and more plots that allow for the game to get very interesting. You can be rich 1 minute and broke the next or vice versa. This was a very much needed facelift!
The additional quickplay feature gives more opportunity for us to play several games and have more winners. My crew has modified it into heats of three players at a time and the top two meeting in the championship game. We cheer each other on!
I must admit though we use the credit cards from the Here and Now edition for the money. Once this feature was introduced we can never go back. Great Game!
If you're looking for something positive to do with your children and teach life lessons at the same time check this game out! It teaches math and reasoning skills, the art of the deal (good and bad ones), Comraderie, promotes healthy competition, and critical thinking. Don't forget this is all while you're having FUN!
