This flash drive amazed me. Both windows and mac recognized it as soon as it was plugged in. no complicated drivers to install or platform incompatibilities. This drive has plenty of storage space to transport all of you digital goodies. The write speed is perhaps my favorite thing about it. You drag something onto it, and it copies super fast. HP is really amazing!
The Hewlett-Packard HP V100W 8GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive is outstanding. This is the greatest flash drive i have ever had. It is cheap and reliable and great for several occasions. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who is in college or school.
I previously had a 1gb flash drive from SimpleTech which works great but I needed more storage to move my music collection between home and work.
This thing is easy to use, simply plug it into your USB port on your computer and in Windows XP/Vista/7 it should open right up. Then you can copy and paste the files that you want to move to the folder that was automatically opened. Unplug the flash drive and your files are stored on the small and portable device.
The only negative would be that sometimes the cap that is provided can sometimes come loose. But otherwise it is a reliable way to...

I had a couple 2GB HP flash drives that I just replaced with 8GB HP flash drives now that the cost has come down quite a bit. I like them because they are streamlined to be easily carried around on your keychain. If you always have your keychain in your pocket, like most people, then you will always have storage space on hand. I have two on my keychain.
