I have been using this machine for almost 6 months and have had no problems with it. I love the memory card slots - they make working with my digital photos so convenient. The print quality of the printer itself is flawless, the ease of changing ink cartridges is better than any printer so far, and the ink last a long, long time. The speed for printing is great, even in color, and I haven't found any thickness of paper yet it won't handle. I print a lot of pictures on photo paper and they look very professional. This is the best HP printer I have ever owned. As to the scanning function, it scans very quickly and depending on the quality of your original document, the scanned document is of high quality and can be enhanced to make it better than the original.
