Locked2010 Electrolux Washer/Dryer New Models???

Does anyone know when the new Electrolux washer/dryers are coming out? They discontinued the Silver Sand model and they seem to be getting rid of their turquoise pretty soon. I'm assuming this means new models/new colors. Does anyone have any info????

maybe they  discontinued these washers due to the problem being experienced with the door lock assembly. We purchased our "wave touch" Electrolux set ,washer and dryer and were delivered on 7-24-10. Since that day we have spent most of our time at laundry mat doing what we could not do in our brand NEW electrolux!! The door either won't lock for the wash to start or won't unlock when you need to open it. Waiting for the 4th service tech to show up now to open door so we can remove the clothes that are prisoners in our NEW electrolux front load washer! Knowing that after a week waiting for the "next" attemp at fixing our "NEW" electrolux washer we will have to trash our clothes due to "mold,mildew".  BUYER BEWARE!!! Seams Sears "talks a good talk but unable to do the walk"

No. The problem you are experiencing is not common, and would have nothing to do with the normal annual change in appliances. Every year, new appliances are introduced to replace the previous year's products. It's just like cars. We don't assume the new model year for cars is because of problems with last year's cars, do we? :)

Just a followup, service rep was out this past Tuesday. Wiring harness is now on order. Will let you know how it goes after harness is installed and we give it a try at washing clothes again!

By the way, one of the new Electrolux machines is already on Sears showroom floors.
