WE LOVE THIS TENT!!!!

This tent is so easy to set up and there's plenty of room in it for our family of 4, a queen size air mattress and all of our duffle bags. It's just as easy to take down as it is to set up and you can fit it all back in the bag again for storage. I would totally recommend this tent to my friends and... read full review »

not what expected

We used it for 2 weekend only camping trips, in Pennsylvania, where it doesn't get really hot. On the second trip when we were taking the tent down, we noticed that the poles that hold the tent up were bent at the center where they join at the top. The sun should not of been hot enough to bend those... read full review »

Great Tent - So far

We've only used the tent once and it was great. It does seem like a 2 man job to put it up, but its not too bad. With more practice I might get it up by my lonesome. Can't really say much for performance and durability yet, but it seems pretty good for the money.

Snow Collapse

I've owned my Hillary tent for two years. Great for summer camping. However, this year I was caught in a mid October snow storm taht ended in disaster. During the evening while sleeping four inches of snow fell breaking several of the fiberglass poles. Most of the two main poles fractured the full length of the each section. One segment snapped in half. The tent collapsed. I had to do emergency repairs by splinting the poles with sticks and duct tape. Never go any where with out a roll of good old duct tape. It was fortunate that the weather cleared and the remainder of the week was sunny... read full review »

windy camping

I absolutly love this tent. I have lost two previous tents in desert camping, due to wind. Not this one. It withstood 55 mph gusts without a hitch. Set up is so quick and easy it is amazing. As with ANY tent; if going to camp in rain, waterproof. And Never pull stakes too tight, and if camping in wind stake with two stakes per loop, placing stakes at opposite angles.

I love my Hilary tent!

Boy, I am really surprised to find out that some campers are disatisfied with Hilary camping products. I have had my tent for nearly ten years now. My tent is so easy to set up, stays fairly sound in rain and thunder storms (I mean really, it isn't a tonado shelter - what do people want?) Over the years the poles have been used (and somewhat abused by teenagers goofing off in the tent) but overall I am happy with my tent and am definately looking at replacing it with another hilary product if I cannot find replacement poles (sooner or later the elastic will give, just as aluminum poles will eventually... read full review »

My hillary tent is 13 years old

Ive had my Hillary tent 13 years, we bought before we had 3 kids and all 3 have been in this tent. The only thing I can see neg is that the poles can be a pain when setting up..match the colors and all..I'd like them all to be the same. Makes setting up late at night a hassle :) We are now in search of a new tent and will most likely stick with a brande that will stand up another 13 years. We are only purchaseing another one because our older children dont want to be seen with the old farts :) But like the last reviewer, this tent has stood up to 3 children from infancy to teen. Rains and storms... read full review »

I will never buy a tent like this again

I was camping with the kids when it stated to rain. I had the cover on and the rain did not go through the tent. However, the next morning when I got up and acidently lightly hit the top of the tent tons of rain drops got me and family wet. I did no enjoy this tent at all.

Great Family Tent

This is a great family tent. we had a lot of space with 2 Queen size air beds for the whole family (2 adults and 3 children). it is very easy to set up, it only took us about 5-10 Mintues to set up this tent.
