The description refers to music in two different places.  Is the tree supposed to play music?

I believe I read about "11 lighting modes" to match one's mood or their music.

Sounds like the tree owner provides the holiday mood and an external musical atmosphere, that at least one of the eleven modes of tree lighting will be likely to be able to match.

No sound comes with the tree.
