I purchased this unit to improve the air quality in my apartment.
The woman next door smokes and the city I live in has terrible air quality most days. I took it out of the box and tested it with my children in their room with the door closed for 2 days and WOW what a difference in the breathing and no more sneezing. I then placed the unit in my apartment on the highest setting for 1 week then switched to low for continuous cleaning.
This is an amazing unit and I can immediately tell the difference in the air quality from being outside to coming inside. This unit I thought was pricey at first however with the lifetime hepa filter that doesn't require replacement you can't beat this unit. Just vacum and go, go, go.
On the lowest setting it is whisper quiet...like having a fan on but definitely not a distraction. I have it in my bedroom and I sleep like a baby with this thing on...and I'm a very light sleeper.
