Purchased Husqvarna 26 hp 54 mower 10-2007 and returned it after two weeks for a full refund.
IMO, the winner was Sears, as they stood behind their sale and made good efforts at fixing the mower and satisfying me.

Just got our Husqvarna zero turn lawn mower and you would think my husband has died and gone to heaven. He says the lawn needs mowing. We have zoysia grass that never grows so I know he is really out there just playing around and having fun. Who knew mowing grass could provide so much fun!
then do not purchase this mower. We have a large yard that takes roughly 3-4 hours to mow. Unless that is if we use this mower and have any moisture (dew or rain in the past 72 hours). Then we have to fight spinning wheels and ruts. It has NO TRACTION. Then it is an all day job. It does not do well at all on any kind of bank, slope or anything more than a flat plane. I can manuver a brush hog better than this mower. VERY UNSATISFIED!!!!
We recently purchased this tractor and brought it home and the tractor did not work, it just went in circles. Only one drive wheel was working. We took it right back to Sears and returned it, we then purchased the Sears Craftsmen Professional Zero-Turn Tractor. I would recommend spending the extra money and getting the Craftsmen Processional Tractor, the worksmanship is far and above better than the Husqvarna. Sears should stop selling this brand of tractor.
Bought the tractor for three reasons: (1) quicker for my huge lawn, (2) kids are afraid of using this tractor, and (3) now my kids can have my old riding lawn mower to help me cut where this one can't! I love this tractor it does my work in 2 hours, what my last tractor did in 6.5 hours. I considered alot of zero-turns and this one was hands down the best for the $$ and best for my (our) yard...Great Job SEARS*.
Just what I would expect from Husqvarna. Even cut and powerful engine. Clearly a best buy for a zero turn. Many times it takes a competent operator to maximize performance of a product like this.
i bought a zero turn 2 yrs ago and husqvarna zero turn 2 years ago for about 3000 and it is junk. it now does not run at all and is in my garage. i will never by this brand again
The husqvarna 54inch deck 26hp, has got to be one of the worst purchases i have ever made. When i first bought the mower it worked great for 3 days!!! then i needed to take it in and they exchanged it, hmm things are looking up right. so i get my new mower that is working great for about a month till i need to call the repair guy that takes almost 3 weeks with my ultra warranty plan that sears service offers . the mower is fixed once more, then finally ill give it another month after that after racking up a whopping 80 hrs a spring SNAPS that controlls the hydrolics. Yet again out of commission...

Incredible power & the 54inch cut is amazing, with zero radius turning & Sears stands behind all their products, this would be my pick.
