Nice Product

Easy to assemble.  Used blower twice so far with no problems.  Less vibration, lighter and quieter than replaced craftsmen.  Comfortable to use.  Have not used vacuum yet, but it has a very large bag with nice strap.  Seems well built with planty of power and even comes with spark plug tool. ...

Most Helpful Critical Review

.....the starter rope wouldn't pull.  The engine froze up and I wasn't able to start it. I returned it to a Sears store and got my money back. They were very nice about it. Husqvarna has a good reputation so I'm thinking this was an atypical experience. I'm ordering a new one and am hoping for better...

Husqvarna 28cc Handheld Blower/Vac Reviews

Very disappointing.

Purchased this because of the reputation of the name.  Received it this Friday.  Used it for 3 hours on Sunday.  Pull start cord broke off.  Also, the vacuum tube is very difficult and awkward to use - almost impossible to remove once it is on.  Not user friendly at all.  Will be returning this for a full refund today and do not want a replacement.  I will do further research before deciding on a replacement.

I did quite a bit of research before buying.  This model is quite similar to the Craftsman Professional except that it comes with the vacuum attachment.

The blower starts easily, has good power and is not as loud as some I have used.

Love it. Best one I had so far. Strong Blower and Vac. Worth the money!

I COULD SEE THAT I HAD MADE THE RIGHT CHOISE WHEN I OPENED THE BOX,PURE QUALITY,ALL FEATURES WORK WELL!!

Thia product is very easy to start and works exactly as it should. It performed flawless right out of the box, blows and sucks like a champ! It is also very ergonomically designed and tubes are easy to remove and put on. I would highlly recommend this product to anyone.

Beware Leaves and Twigs you are toast.

The unit I initially received was not the model listed and was returned. The model in the box was B125B. Anyway got the replacement B125BVX. It seems a bit heavier than the other blowers I purchased . The vacuum functions fine. However the leaf bag will need replacing with time so you may want to price it before buying . I saved 55 dollars buying at Sears rather than at a local dealer. If you like your equipment sturdy and you know it will get lots of abuse this model is for you. Do not consider any electric blower / vac. I plan you give another review after a month.

Usual Husqvarna Quality

I selected this Husqvarna blower because of my previous good experiences with a Husqvarna chainsaw, which i had also purchased from Sears. Among the features I liked: 1) auto-throttle is engaged when the choke is closed, which makes starting much easier, 2) vibration isolation. Upon receiving this blower, I found it was well-packed so there was no shipping damage. As usual, the fit-and-finish are top-notch Husqvarna quality. The blower is mostly pre-assembled and only requires the outlet tube to be attached using a single winged screw. The vac attachment also only requires simple assembly. But... read full review »

Blower / Vac

The blower function is excellent and worthy of five stars. The unit starts effortlessly. Noise and vibration are minimal when compared to other models. The vacum attachement doesn't work at well as I hoped. The vacum suction is not as strong as it could be and the length of the vacum tube can't be adjusted, so depending on your heigth it is awkward to use. It does a nice job mulching leaves and I have had not problems with it getting clogged up like some of the problems I've read about with other brands.

Underdog

I felt i did my homework this time around when i purchased the Husqvarna.I checked everywhere except the pro shops(not ready for $450 unit just yet:)then i checked here and i checked the specs & features, then i decided that trickle down engineering is pretty big for the likes of Husqvarna,Echo&Sthil.Thats how you get life long customers, which they have.Well i was right trickle down does exists. This unit starts well is pretty darn quiet 71dba is about right.Whats not right thuogh is its CFM rating.I`ve had other units rated much higher and the Husq just blowes them away (pun intended!).I found the... read full review »

Not much out there thats better

Like I said in the title. I did alot of research and the only unit i found to be on par (matter of brand loyalty) is the Stihl bg85. I am a husqvarna fan myself. Now of corse you could buy a $400 Shindawai or Mikita but this and the stihl are more then adequate for homeowners and Husqvarna is no cheap company reguardless of the price. The stihl is in the $269 nieghborhood and this machine equals it in performance accept this Husq is easier to start by a long shot although stihls have historically been tough starters all down the product line. This blower has a metal shredder blade in the vaccuum... read full review »

he has used it once so far for small and large debrit.  so far it works great and he loves the cruise control feature

I was really torn between this and the Stilh SH86. The deciding factor was this was $100 cheaper and the engine was bigger. A local dealer told me this one is actually a better buy then the SH86. I have to say it is a great purchase. Have a Poulan blower vac and this thing has much more power seems like it can move twice as much volume and makes the job much quicker. Seems to be well built. Starts easy for a 2 cycle (2 cycle engines are not the easiest to start in general) This one starts every time if you follow the directions.

Also note the vacum has 2 metal blades no one else other then stihl...
