Fantastic!

We were looking to purchase another husky like the one we currently have, but that model is no longer made.  This seemed to be the closest thing to it.  We are very happy.  It chews through logs with ease!  We are only sorry we didn't replace the old one sooner.  This one is saving us a lot of time!...

Husqvarna 455 Rancher Chainsaw

I have no idea about how the chainsaw performs because when i opened the box the handle was cracked and some wear marks that didn't look like they were from shipping. And if you think you're just going to take it back to your local sears store think again,  Unless it's a "Sears full line store" you're...

Husqvarna 455 Rancher 55.5cc 3.5 hp 20&#34... Reviews

Out of the box and two pulls it was running.

Cut up two cords of tree without so much as a studder.

Greatly satisfied with this machine.

Power and Reliability. What else could you ask for?

Could use a beefed up brake handle. No problems with it though.

This chainsaw replaced a 20 yr. old one.  It is more powerful than the one I previously owned.  I live on a wooded property which always has some limb or dead tree that must come down.  I recently bought another property that I'll be clearing to build a log cabin.  This chain saw will get a lot of use.

One tough chainsaw!!!

Got this one after returning a craftsman and what a difference! Cranks right up and it cuts up a storm with the high torque engine. It made quick work of cutting up firewood. Although it is somewhat expensive ($399), it beat the pants off my Craftsman. You won't be disappointed with this chainsaw.

Husqvarna 455 Rancher is a reliable tool, one that will cut through any wood, one that will be there to function any time it is needed.

First, this tool has a name and a tradition behind it. Husqvarna dates back to 1689, when the Swedish King Karl XI ordered the construction of a factory on the banks of the Huskvarna River, for production of muskets. The location was logical, since water power was harnessed from th Huskvarna River to create the water-powered plant. During over 300 years of continuous operation, the factory has produced a lot of different products, from wood stoves to modern kitchen...

Husqvarna Rancher locks up

This is my second saw in 2 months, they both locked up because something is wrong with the chain brake. It was going through wood like there was no tomorrow before they both locked up. I was actually pretty impressed with the saw until I realized it has a defect.

I purchased the Rancher after using a 14" Husqvarna and needing larger saw.  The Rancher works well and never felt underpowered.  If you can only have one saw, get this one.

The Rancher is a little on the heavy side but I like to take breaks while cutting so no big deal.  I also stil have my 14" model for light cutting.

I have been using a 40 year old Skil Woodboss which was an amazing saw! I loved it dearly. It still works but as of now I am going to retire it and use it as a decoration. Ha ha. I purchased the Husqvarna 455 Rancher and I couldn't wait to start felling a few problem tree's! I felled the tree's with no problems and it was as smooth as silk while cutting. I am so happy I purchased a Husqvarna and I will be a customer of theirs for life.

I purchased the Rancher after a storm dropped quite a few very large limbs on my daughters house, yard and fence. I decided to go with the Rancher because I wanted a saw that could handle big jobs on down. I was not disappointed! It came out of the box ready to use and that is what I did. Added bar oil and fuel and 2 pulls later I was in business. It plowed through everything we needed to cut from wet cedar to wet oak without a hickup. An hour and a half later I turned it off cleaned it up and put it away. It made short work of a tough job and that's what I needed it to do. Plenty of power, easy...

Totally cuts wood with amazing speed and cuts your cutting time in half.

Out of the box and running without a hiccup !

The Husqvarna 455 Rancher with 20" bar is all that you will need for your yearly cleanups or land clearing.  This saw is large and powerful, so it may not be best for everyone.  The 55.5cc engine has plenty of torque to cut through just about any size tree a non-professional would care to tackle. The 20" bar makes fast work of large wood or trees that have grown together at the trunk.  The 455 Rancher has a cylinder decompression feature that makes starting a breeze compared to older saws where partial pressure lock can be a hassle. Disassembly is easy with few tools.  The engine is fuel efficient...

Power, Power, Power

WOW.  I replace a Poulan with this Husky, I needing extra power and boy did I get it!!  This thing started our cutting through a old oak tree I needed to remove like it was butter.  I swear I could have used the shaving it was kicking out as ground cover for my garden.  This is by far the best purchase I have ever made.  Keep you chain sharp and you will never regret buying the saw!!!

I've owned a Mcculloch 20in for years but when it died on me it was time to get a new saw. I looked around at other chainsaw but you get what you pay for. You start it up cut some wood trun it off go to start a secand later its really to rock one or two pulls and your cutting once again kicking ass I don't cut a ton of wood a year but my fair share. i don't brun wood but i cut wood for my parents. I'm a carpenter to and some times i need to saw a work every smooth handly saw i think its light not that heavy to. lots of power to.
