this being my first new mower ever,i researched this purchase very hard.i looked at the other manufactures,and husky came away the winner.i've been mowing 2 acres with a 1975 jd 400 with a 60" deck.great garden tractor,but un-maneuverable.took 2+hours,allong with all the problems of a 36 year old mower.it took about 5 minutes to get used to it,but after that all was good.you'll make some divits until your use to the ways of the zero turn.i wanted the mz6128 with the larger engine and fabricated deck, but couldn't swallow the extra 2000.overall am real pleased with my purchase.i now mow my lawn in around 50 minutes.

I have owned the 54 inch Husqvarna since April and have mowed my 5-6 acer yard every weekend. I have cut down on the mow time from about 6 hours to 2 and a half hours. I also do not have to complete as much trimming because of the ability to cut so close to objects. The folks at or Sears store were very helpful and even filled up the mower with gas.

i bought this as a birthday present to myself.i remembered my own birthday and at 53 it getting to be a task id rather forget.anyway, the guys at the lockport hardware store were real helpful with tips and such.ive mowed twice with this mower cutting my time from 2plus hours to 50 min.when done im left wanting to mow some more,but dont want to freak the neibors out mowing their properties. by the way,i mow 2+ acres previous with a 1975 ********** 400 with 60"deck.

This is a great mower I was able to reduce my mowing time by about 40%. This leave me more time to enjoy my weekend. I can even squeeze in time to mow after work during the week. It is quite and has enough power. The cut quality is great. I hope that this will last as long as my 12 year old Craftsman that it replaced....

I have been very happy with the purchase of this mower. I do have quite a few hills and sometimes it slips when going up them. Power seems to be good and it does a good job cutting.

I compared all the brands and found the Husqvarna to be the best value for my money. In a side by side comparison between the Husqvarna and Cub Cadet zero turn mowers, The Husqvarna was constructed of thicker metal. This was especially noticable in the front wheel forks. I wanted the mower with the Kawasaki engine but that was not available through Sears. Husqvarna uses both Kohler and Kawasaki engines. I got the Kohler engine. So far, I haven't had any problems. I just believe the Kawasaki is the better engine. Upon arriving at Sears to pick up my new mower, I expected to start it up and drive it on to my trailer. The mower had no gas in it and had never been started. It had to be pushed on to the trailer. After getting it home, I noticed that one of the front tires was flat. After much difficulty I finally got the tire to take air. The next day the tire was flat again. The next problem was when the mower wouldn't start. I purchased this mower 3 months ago and have cut with it almost weekly since. This was my first zero-turn mower and I upgraded from a good 20hp 42 inch Craftsman riding mower. I immediately cut my 2 plus acre cut time from 2.4 hours to 1.7 hours on my first time ever. I have been getting better and better and finished the last time in just 0.9 hours. The speed is great and you can save a lot of time with the large deck. The earlier complaints of mufflers burning grass, and not being able to tow anything have been corrected since then. There is a heat shield guard under the muffler and a tow hitch built in! The instructions are easy to read and follow. The only negatives I can think of would be the traction in wet or damp areas. In these areas your lucky to not slide or get stuck. In the dry, it drives like a champ! The fuel tank is small, but i can cut my yard about 1.5 times before refueling. All in all, I would recommend this to someone else! Husqvarna 54 inch deck 24 hp Kohler....

We bought this mower a couple of months ago from Sears in West Knoxville, TN. After debating what to buy we went to Sears and looked at all the zero turn mowers they offered but we just weren't sure which was the best investment. A sales associate went to their website and pulled up all the mowers offered by Sears, we were about to buy a different brand that was more expensive than the Husqvarna but another associate overheard our conversation and stopped us. He explained why the Husqvarna was better. He said Husqvarna actually makes all thier Craftsman mowers, the Husqvarna is far more powerful and built to last. He called this mower a beast and said one of his family members has a Husqvarna and that they've had thier mower for years and it's still running great. He also cautioned us that with any zero turn mower be careful if you are mowing on slopes because they can spin, so go slow and dont use the mower on dangerous hills. PRO: This has cut my mowing time in less than half. It is quick and intuitive to use. It was delivered and besides not knowing to turn on the fuel feed, delivery was flawless.

DO NOT WASTE your money on this mower. Since I purchased this mower in oct 2009, sears has been out to repair it 6 times. after the 6th time sears finally agreed to replace it. I was no dummy I choose to go with the commercial grade model. I will say that if you have 1 to 2 acres this mower may be for you. My problems included sears inability to get parts, an oil plug that sears had to cut off because it was torqed and they could not remove, no grease spindles (guess they forgot to put on) so it sweeked alot, the final straw came when sears came to service the mower for it not shutting down after 4 to 5 minutes of use. THey told me I needed to have the mower serviced oil, plugs, filter etc despite the fact it only had 38 hours and I had paid them to do the same service 10 hours ago. I paid 130 bucks and they "fixed it" went to run mower 2 days later and it ran for an even shorter amount of time. Finally Customer solutions agreed to replace the mower. To all customers that lookin to buy something from sears. They do not stand behind there products. I purchased a lawn mower from sears in Grenada,MS, I had it for a week . I rinsed it and all the paint started comin off. I tried for a month and half, they won't fix it. There service is very crappy ,especially in Grenada,Ms. I recommend that u purchase your product from a dealer that will stand behind there product.

This is my first zero turn tractor.I looked at a lot of brands and talked to a lot of people.Most folks agreed that the Kohler engine was a great reason to make the choice that I did.This mower cuts great and the zero turn saves a whole lot of time.Another great point is that you can tow with this mower.

This tractor has belt problems and Husqvarna does not honor their warranty. When I called to scheduled a fix for the belt, I had to wait 6 weaks for their earliest appointment. Belt came at least three diferent before the call. Warning, don't buy their extended warranty.

This Husky 54" 24hp Kohler wizzes through grass like a beast. Iv'e owned a lot of mowers including John Deer, but they cant hold a candle to this Husy for the price! Had this mower for a little over a year and technician has had to come out 3 times already for various difficulties. On the fourth call-in for belt repair I was told I would have to wait 6 weeks for a tech. This is unacceptable especially after I bought the extended warrany that cost me and additional $540.61. If you buy this tractor, don't buy the extended warranty.

I had this mower not even 1 week before I started having trouble. The belt kept slipping off to the point that it froze the clutch. Called for repaire and was told it would be 3 weeks until they would be out. Have you seen what a 2.5 acre yard would look like after 3 weeks of no mowing. Told them unacceptable. Came in 6 days. Bent/ loose pulley system. Repaired, so I thought. Worked fine for a while and then belt kept falling off. Finally belt shredded. Got new belt (not easy to find), and put it on. Fell off twice and then had to bend the spring tensioner pulley up to prevent from slipping off. The muffler creates brown spots on the grass if you stop with the engine running. Does cut down on time. When it runs correctly this is a good machine. Just about ready to return mine.

I had a great experience with Sears and their delivery. This seem to be a really neat machine and capable of saving me a lot of time.....HOWEVER if you stop moving the muffler will burn your grass, even moist grass in seconds. I tried to contact Husqvarna customer support regarding the muffler issue but it's not easy to find a phone number. Don't bother reporting your issues on line, I submitted three times. No respones in a week. I found it difficult to find a phone number. Call 800 487 5951 to speak with a less than helpfull person who will simply refer you to a dealer. They acknowledge poor response to the website as well as the muffler problem but offer no solution.In my opiion Husqvarna customer service is not acceptable. Overall, A good price, neat machine but you will end up with burn marks all over your yard. Both of my neightbors would love a macine like this but ...

This lawn mower is easy to use and works incredibly. Before we purchased this machine mowing the lawn was a chore that no one ever wanted to complete.
