I recently purchased a used 2006 Hyundai Sonata. I was looking at Toyota's and Honda's but could not even afford a older used one. I test drove the Hyundai and have to say I found it more comfortable than the Camry. It is a good size, has many safety features, a wicked comfortable ride and is pretty good on gas. I think many people remember Hyundai from when they first entered the market as having cheap not very reliable vehicles. Times have changed! Consumer Reports rated this 2006 model quite high. I needed a car to replace my mostly dependable 2002 Honda Accord coupe and the Hyundai Sonata fit the bill perfectly. I spend 2 hours every weekday to and from work and needed a car I could count on. Also, having two children under 6 yrs old put safety and four doors high on my list. From the moment I saw the new Hyundai Sonata design I was interested.
