Locked12pt 1/4 inch flex sockets why are they not stocked any more

i shopped for these sockets in dallas mesquite and in chicago store's and cannot

get them any more there are lots of 6pt 1/4 inch flex what happen to the 12 pt's

Demand likely was not sufficient to keep them in stores. A 1/4 universal joint plus a 12 point 1/4" socket will usually do the job.

They should bring them back, it's practically the same construction as the 6-point except that the socket end is obviously different. They should keep these available online at least. I looked for them last month and found nothing in Palmdale, CA. I don't need 6-point universals, I need 12-points because of their lower profile in tighter areas. The combination of 12-point shallow socket and 1/4" universal can be to big to fit at times.
