Our son started his freshman year at IUPUI this August. He loves it. He was accepted into the engineering program. I've heard Purdue graduates say that they wish they would have attended IUPUI for their engineering program because the program is the very same that is implemented at Purdue but you get it for less money. The facilities at the school are great. The Natatorium offers unlimited swimming for $30.00 a semester.
The Student Center houses an excellent bookstore, conference rooms and the food court is really good, too. There is a Chic-Filet, a pizza place, a salad restaurant and more that I can't think of right now ... a wide variety. Most building are connected by covered walkways or underground tunnels. It's in the heart of downtown Indianapolis and an exciting place to be.
When our son graduates, he'll have a degree from Purdue without the cost if he were to go to West Lafayette to Purdue University. IUPUI has it own sports teams. They are the IUPUI Jaguars. I am so excited and proud to be the parent of an IUPUI student.
