Ingersoll-Rand 1 in. Impact Wrench, Ultra Duty with 6 in. Extended Anvil —
This gun's one of the most comfortable to use with the trigger Handel, great for big truck tire's if they are not torqued more than 12-1300 ft-lbs, the gun lacks the power of a 1600 ft-lbs gun made of steel if you know what I mean. I own the 3/4 gun (IR-2141) and it does the same job as this 1" gun, it does have a few and only a few more lbs of torque. The 3/4 is the way to go for the money. I don't know were they came up with the 1600 ft-lbs for this gun but as far as for removing tires off 18 wheelers or even working on big equipment like a Cat D-9L or D-10N the 1600 ft-lbs is not all there or the 3/4 gun has a lot more than it's advertised at 1,200 ft-lbs.
The gun is great like it alot, but 1600 ft-lbs I dont think so.. more like 1250 ft-lbs
