Works just fine out of the box. It may be a little 'delicate' for repeated shop use, but that's not what it's designed for. Ability to update via computer is a big plus, instruction manual is good. I've used this on 2 Pontiacs, 1 VW and 1 Honda and it's worked just fine.
There are several brands of diagnostic tool of this nature in the market. This one is among the very few that has the ability to upgrade from the Internet (via PC), for the future. The tool performs great, as expected and helped me accurately diagnose my problem.
This is an easy to understand tool. Not complicated at all. Helped me find out the trouble with my car. Also used it on a friends car. She knew what to tell the mechanic was wrong with her car.
I had a check light on, pluged this unit in and it told me whats wrong..i got the part replace and everything worked out pretty well
Pray the reader does'nt fail after the warranty is out. Your out your money, they do not make repairs. It's dixe cup tool DO NOT BUY IT
This tool is so easy to understand and anybody could be able use it under any circustance,this could help you save a lot of money.
