Inappropriate?

I'm looking at a black shapewear advertised for about $8.99 but when it comes up to buy online, it says $47. I want to pick up at Tyrone and how does it differ from the $16 model? Also, what size does 1x translate to as I have one like that with high cut legs. Thanks, Marcella
