the levis were fine. My son did not like how they fit. We returned the pants and got the levis 550 which he loves.
Carhartt Series 1889 Loose Fit Jean (B189)
I have had my Carhartt Series 1889 loose-fit jeans (trust me, I had to lookup the website for the full name lol)... anyhow they are tagged as 'B189' in their scheme. Anyhow though I love them - they dont have all the pockets of normal Carharrt wear so they are really easily worn in social situations... and frankly the most comfortable pair of jeans that I own!
Now anyone who sees my reviews knows I am a nut for Carharrt due to their quality... but that is the only thing I have any concerns about with these.

review »David Taylor Stretch Denim Pants
There is no way I can write an original review for these jeans. My words have all been used before. The main complaint in ALL of these reviews is that David Taylor fixed something that absolutely WAS NOT BROKEN and they did a LOUSY job.
Wake up, read the reviews, smell the coffee....whatever but give us back what worked for us or you will end up with warehouses of unsold jeans.
Raise the price if that is what it takes to use the quality materials of the past but don't lower the quality and goodness of design. to make the profit. That never works and this seems to be a classic example of that....

David Taylor Comfort Fit Waist Band
The originals were fantastic and I loved the comfort. The new (Old now) elastic crinkle waisband wasn't the same but I could live with it. Now the designers have come out with, what seems at first to be a new nifty, hidden waistband expansion on both sides above the front pockets. One big problem I find is that when you expand the waistband it pulls the pure white pocket lining into view which looks horrible when viewed straight on. Also the same numbered size waistband does NOT fit the same as that number in older designs. It is so tight that you have to move up a size. Please go back to the...

Levi Levi Jeans
I started at one end of the Bayshore Mall looking for jeans for my husband. At every store that carries jeans I asked for them in size 34-28" and not a one had them until I got to Sears at the end of the mall. At one store I was told that you have to get them longer and get someone to turn the legs up and stitch them because the these shorter sizes rarely exist. So, hooray for Sears carrying the shorter lengths! I bought two pair.
