Jet 1/2 hp 10"x 14" Indexing Mini Lathe (JML-1014I) —

The Jet mini is the best mini lathe you can buy for the money. It is a very durable lathe and has more then enough power for it's size. I have used mine to turn a wide range of things from 1" to 2" fishing bobbers to 9.5"wide X 6"deep bowls with no problems. Sears has one of the best prices on this lathe I have seen. Other stores that carry this brand want close to $300.00 for the same lathe. This is a very good lathe to start turning on and also a good addition to a shop that may already have a large lathe. I would recommend this lathe to anyone who is in the market for a lathe this size and those who just want to spend more money on their shops to make their wives mad. The only thing I don't like about mine, is I don't have more time to use it.
